Our Goals | Lue Haven

Our Immediate Impact Fund exists to provide flexible financial assistance to individuals and families facing unexpected crises. When life changes overnight through mental health crisis, job loss, housing instability, domestic violence, medical emergencies, transportation barriers, utility shutoff notices, family reunification needs, or other urgent hardships, this fund helps bridge the gap between crisis and stability.

This fund is designed to respond quickly to critical needs, helping prevent homelessness, family separation, educational disruption, and other long-term consequences of short-term emergencies.

Every dollar donated directly supports real people in our community during moments when immediate action can make the greatest difference.

How We Show Up

Lue Haven Network

Lue Haven responds to community crises by coordinating a network of local partners, volunteers, and resources to provide timely support, advocacy, and practical assistance. Through collaboration and our Immediate Impact Fund, we help individuals and families navigate emergencies, access essential services, and move toward lasting stability.

Mentorship

Lue Haven's mentorship team responds to crises by offering compassionate support, resource navigation, advocacy, and consistent encouragement. Through trusted relationships and community connections, mentors help individuals and families access the assistance they need while fostering resilience and hope during challenging times.

Advocates

Our advocates work closely with students, caregivers, schools, and community partners to identify needs, remove barriers, and connect families to the right resources. This can look like helping a family understand school supports, coordinating services, attending meetings, or making sure a student’s needs don’t fall through the cracks.

Free Services

Free, community-rooted support designed to meet real-life needs with care and clarity. From navigating essential resources to supporting whole-person wellness, Lue Haven offers accessible guidance in housing, healthcare, benefits, transportation, education, and healing services—so no one has to figure it out alone.

Telehealth Therapy

In collaboration with Lizzy Bishop, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor providing mental health counseling virtually in the state of Ohio and Minnesota. Lizzy specializes in trauma, postpartum, perinatal, and insomnia.

Resource Navigation

We help individuals and families get connected to essential supports like EBT, health insurance, affordable housing, transportation, professional development, and more. Instead of handing you a list and wishing you luck, we guide you step-by-step through the process, helping you understand your options and access what you need with confidence and ease.

Community Wellness

We guide individuals through healing, fitness, mindfulness, and nutrition with a whole-person approach that honors where you are. Our team is made up of passionate, knowledgeable individuals who each bring a unique expertise in wellness and healing practices, all grounded in compassionate care.
