These widespread setbacks signal an immediate need for intentional, coordinated action to support schools and the students they serve. So, we are narrowing our focus to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

HOW WE SHOW UP

We support students by linking them to the essential resources and guidance they need to thrive, both in the classroom and beyond it. Communities CAN change the trajectory of a young person’s life. That’s why Lue Haven is committed to serving as dedicated caring connectors, embedding support within the school itself so students have what they need to succeed.

Lue Haven Network

Lue Haven brings community partners like health care providers, nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and more to schools to make a meaningful difference in students' lives. Our team works with students and educators to identify solutions and our community partners step in to provide those critical services students need to succeed in school and achieve in life.

Mentorship

Through one-on-one and small-group mentoring, students receive academic encouragement, emotional support, and life guidance tailored to their needs. Mentors help students set goals, strengthen confidence, and navigate challenges in order to succeed in school and beyond. Sometimes that looks like homework help. Sometimes it looks like learning how to regulate emotions, communicate needs, or believe in themselves again.

Program Partners

Program partners provide access to critical resources, enrichment opportunities, and specialized services that meet students where they are. This may include academic support, mental health services, wellness programs, career exploration, family resources, or creative and recreational opportunities. By integrating these services into our programs, students receive well-rounded support that addresses both immediate needs and long-term growth.

Advocates

Our advocates work closely with students, caregivers, schools, and community partners to identify needs, remove barriers, and connect families to the right resources. This can look like helping a family understand school supports, coordinating services, attending meetings, or making sure a student’s needs don’t fall through the cracks. Advocates focus on empowerment, not dependency, so families gain the knowledge and confidence to advocate for themselves over time.
